Iverson Issues, Already

If you saw Allen Iverson's playing time becoming an issue for the Memphis Grizzlies, stand up and be recognized. Now sit back down because everyone saw that one coming down Broadway from a mile away as well.

Well almost everyone.

Everyone but the Grizzlies front office and the head coach.

How in the wide-wide-world-of-sports was this not addressed with Iverson? All we heard from the press conference introducing AI was, "we'll see how it plays out" and, "there are plenty of minutes to go around".

Well, one game into the Iverson era, (ONE GAME!!) we're seeing how it's playing out. Allen wants to start, and he wants minutes. He doesn't want to be a 6th man, and that's that, His words by the way.

His starting doesn't help the old Three year Plan, but it makes sense in the her and now. Does anyone out there feel like Mike Conley is a better player than Iverson? I know I don't.

But do they give into Iverson, or does management and Hollins stand their ground?

Whaddya think?
